Coolers Explained As
a simple explanation Coolers will reduce the room temperature and
humidity while they cool and we offer mono and split portable cooling
units. The mono cooling model stands alone and has a hose which
throws away the waste heat through a hose to outside, just crack
the window open a bit to discharge the waste heat. Split coolers
consist of two pieces, the room unit and the outside condenser which
are linked by an umbilical hose. The outdoor section can be hung
out of a window. Some say that air conditioned spaced should not
have open windows. This is OK in air conditioned buildings where
fresh air is processed at source. In a building without integral
air conditioning you still need fresh air to breath so the window
opened a little is not a bad thing.
